Hello, all.

I decided to create this blog after receiving inspiration from my cousin Poodleful. Her new blog, http://poodlefulisthenewmartha.blogspot.com, is devoted to all manners of house, home and child rearing. Since it would be hard to devote a whole blog devoted to the joys of chasing my shadow along the fence, I will instead be focused on one of my other favorite pastimes, Home Improvement, or whatever related subjects happen to be on my mind. I might occasionally use this as an opportunity to share my thoughts regarding my chosen (or some might say predestined) profession, the rough and tumble world of construction contracting. This will come as a great relief to my girlfriend, E., who I occasionally bore to tears with my repetitious digressions about the life of a contractor. So, bear with me dear readers. Hopefully, over the next several weeks, I will be developing the flip/idiosyncratic/irreverent style that is so de rigueur here in the blogosphere and you won't be able to get enough.
